PATH

PATH is an immersive audiovisual artwork combining mapping video projections, light design on the façade of Bodø Cathedral, and a specially composed soundscape. It offers a sacred and poetic reflection on our inner journey toward meaning—through faith, doubt, and transformation.

Throughout history, humanity has searched for the meaning of life, navigating both rational and irrational paths: building societies, creating religions and cultures, and exploring the world through science. Yet the search for meaning remains a deeply personal journey—an inner pilgrimage toward the sublime.

PATH reflects on this longing for purpose and connection to something greater. It explores sacred and spiritual symbols across cultures and religions, as well as the Nordic tradition where nature, belief, and daily life are deeply intertwined. At its heart, the work is meditation on the spiritual - the beautiful and the vulnerable essence of being human.
